So the last game of the regular season tells the story of which team is the best in the A.F.C. West, as the Raiders go into the Chiefs home stadium & totally dominate them in every facet of the game. They got beaten up on both offense & defense, they had no answer for anything the Raiders did, & the Chiefs needed to win this game to secure the #2 seed in the playoffs. They were completely over matched.

Jason Campbell went 15-25-155 yards, 1 TD, & added 4 runs-33 yards Matt Cassel 11-33-115 yards 0 TD, 2 Interceptions,0 yards rushing. Michael Bush 25-137 yards-1 TD, J.Charles 14-87-1TD, T.Jones 10-17 yards, 0 TD. Da Raiders sacked the hapless Chiefs 7 times, Cassel was running for his life all day, he was knocked down maybe about 12 or more other times & hurried all afternoon.
All this took place with DT Richard Seymour watching from the sidelines, along with RB Darren McFadden-DMC to us standing watching Bush play in his place due to injury. Much of the team was out because of injury.
So, the Raiders finish the season going undefeated in their division at 6-0 & they didn’t just win games they destroyed the opposition.

Looks pretty impressive & yes, the Raiders are easily the best team in the west, they also are the first team to go undefeated in their division & MISS THE PLAYOFFS! Why one might ask? Well Tom Cable might be the answer, at least Al Davis feels that way (so do I) because Big Al declined to renew Cable’s contract allowing him to seek otherwise gainful employment elsewhere. Since Hue Jackson came in as O.C. the Raiders more than doubled their offensive output scoring wise. They improved greatly on both sides of the ball. However, going 2-8 outside the division cost us dearly. Still, there will be only one winner & 31 losers when all is said & done. One Super Bowl winner.
We have improved big time, got a boatload of talent & the team is very young. I didn’t see us winning the big dance this year anyway, so maybe someone different & a tad sharper can take this to the next level.
